Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated & effective: July 2026 · Compliant with Indian IT Act & RBI Payment Rules
Welcome to Nunma, an all-in-one operating system for tutors and educational institutions. This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs the software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscriptions, course bookings, and live sessions provided by Nunma Private Limited, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. By accessing or using our website (nunma.in), you automatically signify your consent to be bound by these terms.
1. SaaS Platform Subscriptions
Cancellation: You may cancel your recurring monthly subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your platform access will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
Refund Eligibility: We do not offer a free trial period. Subscription and course charges are generally non-refundable unless a valid claim is initiated within the first 7 days of purchase, provided that you have not consumed or completed more than 35% of the associated course or platform content.
Auto-Renewals: Nunma utilizes auto-renewal options to ensure uninterrupted service access. Auto-renewal charges are strictly non-refundable once the transaction has been processed. You must proactively cancel your subscription before the billing date to prevent future recurring charges.
2. Course & Live Session Bookings
Student Cancellations: If a student books a live 1-on-1 session, group batch, or digital course, they may cancel without penalty and receive a refund if they meet the core criteria: the cancellation occurs within 7 days of purchase and less than 35% of the session or course duration has been completed.
Tutor Cancellations & No-Shows: If a tutor cancels a scheduled session or fails to attend, the student is entitled to a 100% refund or a platform credit to reschedule the session.
Technical Disruptions: In the event that a session cannot proceed due to severe platform downtime, server malfunction, or technical disruptions originating from Nunma's infrastructure, users will be issued a 100% refund.
3. Processing Timelines & Deductions
Review Period: The administrative team requires up to 3 business days to review and evaluate all submitted refund requests.
Settlement Timeline: Following approval, the refund will be processed immediately. The actual time it takes for the funds to reflect in your bank account is entirely dependent on the standard processing windows of the respective payment gateway partner.
Deductions: All authorized refunds are subject to standard deductions, which may include payment gateway processing fees, transaction charges, and applicable taxes.
4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be authorized under the following circumstances:
- The refund request is submitted after the 7-day eligibility window has closed.
- The user has completed or consumed more than 35% of the purchased material or course duration.
- The charges are a result of automated subscription renewals.
- The user has violated the Nunma Terms and Conditions.
5. Grievance Redressal and Dispute Resolution
In strict alignment with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, all grievances relating to cancellations and refunds shall be addressed by our appointed Grievance Officer, Mr. Sundaram S M.
Contact Information: Please direct all refund-related grievances via email to support@nunma.in.
Resolution Timeline: The Grievance Officer shall endeavor to respond to your communication within 5 working days of receipt.
Dispute Resolution: Any unresolved disputes arising from this policy shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days. Should the issue persist, it will be resolved through binding arbitration governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat and venue of arbitration strictly located in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India.
